Who we are

Artha is a NanoSkool Education app at money.nanoskool.com. You sign in with your NanoSkool account, which is shared with the other NanoSkool apps; each app keeps its own data.

What we collect

For everyone: your name, how you sign in (email or phone), and what you do in Artha.

For teens: your birth month and year (to check you are 13 to 18), your tasks, and, once a parent has consented, the money your family records: pocket money, spending, budgets, savings goals and requests.

Receipts and photos you upload as evidence. We never ask for bank, card or UPI details.

Parental consent

Before a teen's money, AI mentor or school links are used, a parent or guardian gives verifiable consent (text version artha-dpdp-2026-11-v1). We record who consented, when, and what they agreed to. A parent can withdraw consent at any time in Family settings; the teen's money features then lock again.

Before a parent links, a teen can use practice mode: pretend money that is stored only in their own browser and never sent to us.

Students who are 18 are adults under the law: they consent for themselves and manage their own account.

The AI mentor

The AI mentor runs on Claude, made by Anthropic, a processor outside India. It receives only what it needs to answer: a first name, amounts, category names and task titles. It cannot move money or approve anything. Conversations are kept so you can see them and so we can check the mentor is safe.

Who can see what

A teen and their parents see that teen's money. Teachers and schools never see a family's money; they see the tasks they set and the fee demands they publish with the payments recorded against them. NanoSkool staff see accounts and the audit log for support and safety.

No ads, no tracking

We show no advertising, run no behavioural tracking and do not sell or share data for marketing. We do not train AI models on your family's data.

Your rights

A parent can download the family's data, withdraw consent, or delete the family from Family settings. Deleting removes the family's records permanently, except what the law requires us to keep.

Where it is stored

On NanoSkool's servers, encrypted in transit. Backups are kept for seven days.
